About Me:

Atlanta, Georgia is my hometown, so I am a true Southern gal. My Mom and Dad put me on a horse at the age of 5 ... and that became a passion that will always be a part of my life. I competed in horse shows for years on a National level ... but then college came calling! University of South Carolina ... Broadcast Journalism (go Gamecocks!). THAT led me to a challenging, sometimes very tough, but memorable career as a TV News Anchor. After about 12 years of that ... it was time to move on and seek other challenges.
My love for animals prevailed! So I am now working as a Certified K-9 Trainer here in Southwest Florida. I specialize now in basic obedience training for dogs, but I am also working in advanced obedience .... which includes protection work. One of my own dogs is currently in training for the Peace River K-9 Search and Rescue Team. VERY exciting work!
Animal Welfare has also been a passion for years ... so I work closely with the Humane Society of Sarasota County. You can hear me on 107.9 WSRZ on Crane's Critters every Thursday with the Morning Crew: Jones and Crane. They call me "Fletch", by the way.
I'm also continuing to use those ol' Broadcasting skills as a freelance Spokesperson, Writer, Actress and Public Speaker. I particularly enjoy Motivational Speaking. It gives me a chance to use my experiences and personality to help people!
I love to cook. Although my favorite food is sushi, and I have not mastered that at home ... so I enjoy several great sushi bars in the area. I also like to stay home and watch horror flicks, and read Stephen King novels. (Doesn't go well with sushi ... popcorn will do.) I also love NFL football and tailgating! Always miss it during the off season.

Best thing about living in Sarasota

Its beautiful. Blue water, white sand and blue skies. The people I have met are friendly and classy. It has a big city elegance without the big city craziness.
