Curtain Call 2008
I'd like to thank EVERYONE who took the trouble to go online and vote in the Sarasota Herald Tribune's Curtain Call - thanks to you, I won Best Supporting Actor, Play for my performance as Val in last season's Golden Apple Dinner Theatre production of Neil Simon's Laughter on the 23rd Floor.

Hello Everyone! So happy to see a local circle going!
Thanks Cliff! Look forward to sharing and getting to know those that I've never met before and hopefully making some serious connections! I'm mostly a film / tv / commercial actress as well as voice overs and spokesperson/host. I would love to do theater but, I haven't gotten voice training yet (and need it)!

AUDITIONS!!!
For one of the most unique play festivals in the entire COUNTRY! Got A Minute? is coming our way and we need actors and crew for this One Minute Play Festival! (yes, we produce an entire evening of One Minute Plays...all for GREAT charities like Komen for the Cure and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer) Auditions are Sunday July 13th at 3:00 at The Players Theatre. Performance dates are September 12th and 13th 2008 at The Players Theatre. Bring a memorized monologue and a sense of fun and adventure!!!

I think all of the local theatres should be proud of this past season...their shows, their actors and their contribution to the community. We should all rejoice in the work we've done, our commitment to our hometown and all the lives we've touched. As theatre people, we need to accept that there will always be people who don't understand...but that doesn't mean we stop doing what we're doing. Nothing should ever deter us from our individual and collective goals...and that is to create the best theatre we possibly can! Congratulations to all and here's to a sizzling summer!!
