OK, got to nit-pick asomething that will no doubt be fixed by the time you go there: the first thing this reviewer does before visiting (or writing about) a restaurant is to visit its website for address details etc. Big Sugar's site is ultra-modern but slow, and at time of writing nothing appeared when I clicked Menu or Events. But that'll get fixed.

That said, when you pass by Big Sugar outside, you don't realize how big it is inside; well-decorated (lovely overhead fans) with a very long and fabulously stocked bar and comfortable tables and booths.

Maria and I enjoyed our evening meal at Big Sugar very much. We enjoyed a good house salad, very tangy ribs with crispy Yucca fries, tasty pork tenderloin in a cilantro sauce. And a fantastic bread pudding with chocolate bananas and cinnamon for dessert. All competently prepared by chef Eric Bein. Rumor has it they offer fantastic sandwiches on their lunchtime menu as well.

I havent gotten the experience just yet! I have heard such amazing things about the chef and his culinary creativity! I can't wait to see what I'm going to get to enjoy! Melissa
